I cant remember the name of a series that was on in the 70s set in a small remote Canadian town.
I think the main character was called nick, dark curly hair with a mustache he was always with a young blond lad and seemed to be doing nothing most of the time.
There was a cafe involved in it set on a lake, the scenery was stunning.
