70's children series

Please could you help identify a TV show from the early/mid 70's?
Unfortunately I can only dimly recall the opening sequence
There are some kids in a spooky house, they pass a painting with watching eyes. The opening was music was very memorable. Sorry for being so vague.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
