survival type programme blue and red teams

There were 2 teams each week and they had to survive on an uninhabited island or in the jungle and kill stuff to eat. There was a survival expert that judged them. I'm sure it was on BBC2 and it must have been in the early 90s, it's driving me crazy as I thought Dermot O'leary was the presenter but it wasn't.

was it the original series of shipwrecked? Or Castaway, I can't quite get the name but I know the one you mean. I'm sure I heard a radio presenter talking about it the other day saying they presented it, it was either dermot or Vernon Kay
