He was on some kids saturday morning tv progamme?

Would really appreciate the name of the Tv programme and any info on this guy!

Think I know the guy, hosted "The Big E", a late night show I used to watch in the early nineties, cos there was rude stuff on there.

He also hosted a CITV show that was like a kids tommorrows world, previews of new technology etc.

He was also a guest on the legendary episode of "The Time, The Place" where Chris Morris hoodwinked the producers into thinking he was an expert in ancient Greek mythology, and spouted a load of rubbish before he was rumbled!

Can't remember the guys surname though
