  • EARLY '80s SPOOKY CHILDRENS BBC TV DRAMA

HELP ME PLEASE!!! I REMEMBER A BBC DRAMA ABOUT A YOUNG GIRL WITH LONG DARK HAIR WHO USED TO " DISAPEAR " INTO THE VICTORIAN ERA (PAST) AND I REMEMBER THE ONLY WAY SHE COULD GET BACK WAS BY RUNNING TO A MIRROR AND LOOKING INTO IT. PART OF THE STORY WAS SET AT CHRISTMAS TIME AND THERE WAS A GIRL IN THE PAST WHO NEEDED HER HELP, BUT SHE WAS ALWAYS AFFRAID THAT SHE WOULD BE STUCK IN THE PAST. CAN ANYONE REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS CALLED???

I SEEM TO REMEMBER IT WAS ON BBC 1 AS PART OF THE CHILDRENS DRAMA SERIES AND IT USED TO REALLY SPOOK ME OUT.

Yeah 'Come Back Lucy'..I racked my brains for years before I found out the name of it with the help of another forum. No one else seemed to remember it. It had a really creepy intro.

It's called Moondial. Not sure if you've found this out yet, I just happened to come across it recently on youtube and watch the whole series to reminisce. Check out the box of delights too, an absolute classic!
