One Summer tv series 1983

    One Summer tv series 1983

    Does anyone else remember this great show? It was about two boys Icky and Billy who ran away from home to the countryside. I remember one bit where one of them tried to feed some baby birds with a Mars bar which killed them, the lad was upset. Think it ended quite sadly too. This might jog memories...

    A few months ago i bought the 2 disc dvd box set off amazon.Well worth a watch.

      Looks good! I've never heard of this series but it looks like my kind of thing, might give it a whirl if the price is right!

        I remember this. I think it was the first TV that David Morrissey did.

            It had quite a dramatic ending when the more "troublesome" of the duo nicked a mark 4 cortina got chased by the police, crashed and went out in a blazing inferno which was very realistic from what I can remember. The only sex scene (not between the two boys..unfortunately!) was pretty lame!

                  Going out (Phil Redmond) is avaliable complete on utube.(Never going to be on dvd) It was shown as a repeat on the as then new c4 channel never been repeated since.
