help with 90's kids program

Could anyone help me with a kids program i used to watch in the 90's? I only really vaguely remember it but its been driving me crazy for months. All i remember is the ending where there are these jewels in this metal globe trap in a room and theres water rushing in. The evil (think it was a woman) tries to get the stones out but the globe traps her arm and the kids get away.

I think thats what happens anyway, if anyone has any ideas (even if it just proves I didn't dream it) that would be fantastic!

Sounds like the final episode of Eye Of The Storm, which was a children's paranormal drama screened in late 1992. Awesome show.

Thanks! How'd you remember something like that?! Its almost impossible to find anything on the net about it, but this picture just about shows the globe thing I was on about.
