  • little to go on...

I am trying to find the name of a tv programme from I think the 70's

Problem is I have bits in my head but nothing much to go on. The lead actor was a sort of tall lanky chap and his girlfriend was shorter with dark hair and I think worked in a boutique?

I can't really remember much else about it - so not asking for much am I.

I have a picture of the chap in my head but I can't even remember his name. Light hair, tall and slim.

The episodes were just about them as a young couple, light humour - it is driving me mad!!! Set somewhere in the north of England I think but maybe not???

I wont hold my breath for an answer cos I know this is like asking you to give me a hen's tooth................

Watching probably my favourite comedy programme of the last 20 years or so. Watching however was based in the late 80,s early 90 ,s, so dont know if it will be that. For the first 5 series of Watching Brenda had long permed hair
