Do You remember...

Hi I've been stuck for years! There was programme in the 70's/early 80's which was about some children who woke up to find the world was deserted and that all the machines had stopped working it was an eerie programme and quite frightening at the time. Can anyone help?

i seem to remember a series like this. but i think it wasn't about a group of children, but about just one girl. I think she meets some sikhs in it as well. was it called something like 'trains'? i don't know why i think it was called this but i seem to recall it was called just one word. i also remember it wasn't very good.

Tellyaddict, I think you mean `Changes`. I remember it was first shown on BBC1.

Fantastic found the series it was The Changes and if you do want to find out more have a look on the BBC website it has clips of the intro and parts of the programme excellent!!
