Btw, in one episode, I am sure you actually see what The Gods look like, not the stone statue like images they usually used but an actual God....its a blink and miss it moment but its in there...its in an episode where Uyllses has to sit in a chair of forgetfulness...you see a mysterious figure walking past in the background. In the same episode I think Uyllses askes: 'why don't you show yourselves?!'....Adds up.

    a real classic aint it.

yes one seat makes him forget everything and the other sends him back to earth but without telemicus.

    Jamie and the Magic Torch
    Chorlton and the Wheelies
    Fraggle Rock
    Little Blue
    Worzel Gummidge
    Count Duckula
    Batfink
    Runaround
    The Flumps
    Bod
    Mr. Benn
And another cartoon-ish programme with a family of different coloured blobs, the two biggest were called Baba Papa and Baba Mama, I think, and I'm sure Papa was pink and Mama was blue... does anyone know what that was?

As an adult it sounds a bit cheesy, but the memories come flooding back

My Mum liked it when it first started, I didn't right off the bat-it was shown after Dogtanian ended its run I think and nowt compared at the time-we dipped in and out of it and got sick of it going on and on and on...Mum used to joke that Zea must have stunk rotten wearing the same togs all the time-same goes for the others! We got sick of the Olmecs, the flying bird, and I particularly didn't like how Ti meets his Dad at the end, he doesn't find out and then the old man karks it....naff.

Mysterious cities of gold is hard not to remember as it went on forever - 39 episodes apparently. I think I dipped in and out of it. I didn't have the attention span to follow an ongoing story week by week.

Danger mouse was repeated in Australia earlier this year .It was on very early in the morning before that Jessica Alba version of the Flipper tv show.
    I liked it.

I think GH went downhill towards the end.

Did they show Danger Mouse in New Zealand then or did you grow up here in the UK for a bit? My Dad hated it-I loved it-he used to rant and mock the line 'Danger Mouse-POWER HOUSE'-Dad would ask: 'HOW CAN HE BE A POWER HOUSE?! WHAT IS A 'POWER' HOUSE!?!' And then promptly swear in Singalese...lol.
