i think it was in those early channel 4 years it was alternative comedy chat show that had live music sets filmed at the fridge in brixton
im racking my brains trying to think what it was called.
as i lived near brixton at the time i used to frequent the fridge a lot back then with college mates one show i deffinatley remember them filming there was a dead kennedys gig

found out with in 5 minutes of posting what ever you want - and it was actually the ace in brixton

The show was called "Whatever you want"
I went to a few of the shows that got filmed. Twas indeed at the Ace Cinema in Brixton

I'll scan up some cuttings I have advertising the gigs

Blast.. all my old music papers are from 78-80, so too early.

Found this though.. I was at the Birthday Party gig
