    Re: A Quinn Martin Production

That voice over, "A Quinn Martin Production!" in overly dramatic style, is a very clear memory from my youth. And yes, one could hear it on 'The Streets of San Francisco', 'Cannon', and ...the one I remember most, 'The Invaders'.

The Invaders was scary stuff! - 'It began with the landing of a craft from another galaxy'.
The beginning with the 'lonely country road' every week used to really scare me.

Also "FBI" starring Efrem Zimbalist Jnr! What a name - the Americans really can pick 'em! It always continued with 'Tonights episode......'

            Re: A Quinn Martin Production

Although it wasn't one of the biggies, my favourite Quinn Martin production was A Twist In The Tale. I couldn't find anything about it for ages until I discovered that it was called Tales Of The Unexpected in the US. Like our TOTU it was an anthology series and I remember it going out on ITV on Saturday nights around '77-'78, a time I remember for being allowed to stay up really, really late for repeats of The Prisoner (the first time I'd seen it) around 12.30-1.00am!

The title sequence is here just in case anyone else remembers it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqWoxzPgo1A

I'm working my way through the DVDs at the moment. Still looks and sounds great to me.
