i am trying to figure out the name of a series that has stuck in my mind for years. remember watching it as a kid so i'm thinking mid 70's ish. from what i remember it was based on two characters in england wo fought and or supported the angles saxons mercia wessex and poss hereward the wake . / / could also have been jutes and danes in there too. they were warriors on horses and i think it was made for kids. after the flashing blade, this was the one that stuck with me, but whenever i ask i get a confused look. help?
