I got very exited when these re-runs came on....remember enjoying this programme so much! Got my kids sat down to watch with me, they were in fits of laughter all the way through, they now call me mummy monkeeeeeeeeee!

Sorry about the crappy version of the Monkey theme but I remember this being on BBC2 on Friday evenings and used to watch it. The weapons were actually Chinese but the programme was actually Japanese AND WORTH REPEATING!! Anybody agree with me about time it was repeated again ?

I agree! Repeat it!! I loved Monkey when I was a kid. I remember watching it and being a bit amazed by all the acrobatic fighting!

Monkey! Haha I remember catching this a few times late-night on Channel 4 about 7-8 years ago and banging onto my mates in college about how good it was. Anyone know what happens at the end, do they reach the end of the journey?

Damon Albarn from Blur produced a stage production awhile back and his mate who designed the Gorillaz characters did the artwork for all the characters, interesting to see his take on Monkey, Pigsy and the gang.
