  • The Munsters Today (before CITV in the UK)

Hey all, I'm looking to connect with fellow fans of 80s sitcom The Munsters Today for discussion about the show and potential input in a new documentary I'm producing for Universal.

The series was a reimagining of the original 1964 sitcom The Munsters and starred Lee Meriwether, Jason Marsden and Hilary Van Dyke. It aired 3.25pm before CITV weekdays between 1989-1992 (season one) with new series two episodes every Saturday at 12.25pm.

I remember the original Munsrers starring Fred Gwynne & Yvonne DeCarlo as Herman & Lily but I don't remember the remake.

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

I was going to say the same earlier this morning. I have no recollection of the remake on TV. It's the sort of thing I would of checked in on. I have some very fond memories of the original series and the gags and banter between Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis was just superb. I could talk all night about the original show. But I am wondering how I missed the remake series?

I remember seeing the odd episode, it seem to click as much as the original did.
