does anyone remember a game show thing, with people looking for tube things they called time capsules, and there was a red double decker bus and a man who wore glasses and had things on them that flipped down to make them sunglasses? please please please its driving me mad, what was this show?!

Is it "Time Busters"? A childrens game show that had David Troughton (Son of Doctor Who's Patrick) travelling around in a time travelling bus. It was broadcast between 1993 and 1995 on ITV.

that was it yes, and now I know why it popped back into my head after all this time, my mum saw Michael Troughton on the detectives and thought it might be him who was on time busters but she couldn't remember what it was called, well there we go mystery solved, you have such good memories!
