    The official Doctor Who Annual began as a weekly comic style magazine in October 1979, with a photo of Tom Baker and a Dalek on the front cover.As the years went on it went out as a monthly production and is still going strong today with articles and a comic strip plus interviews with the stars of Doctor Who.

    the latesv issue has an interview with lis sladen not long before she died.
    its a fantastic read.

    did not think the mag was going that long.

        I'm not sure about Doctor Who Weekly beginning as an annual, ... the annuals are something separate I think, and date back to the 60s. But yes, I bought the first magazine and stopped collecting about half way through the run of 'Doctor Who Monthly'.
