Just watched the pilot episode of Open All Hours (youtube) aired in March 1973...funny to see a different nurse Gladys Emanuelle, a young Keith Chegwin and a different Yootha Joyce to the one you know from MATH and G&M.

It's very different to the regular series, I think they used a different street as well.

IIRC it was made as part of a series of 1 off shows starring Ronnie Barker, another was the pilot to Porridge.

Me too mate, just discovered 4OD on my PS3 and been watching all sorts, this included. Four Men in a Car is honestly one of my favourite comedy pieces ever, pure mayhem from start to finish and so funny. Was surprised to see it aired in 1998, I always thought it aired the Christmas before. So much better than the sequel though 'Four Men on a Plane'.

Aside from that, caught up on the entire first series of The Mimic and been watching some classic Whose Line is it Anyway? Still brilliant.
