    Default Hot Cross Buns

In the late sixties there was a local pub which served hot cross buns on Good Friday

It was a community event where (IIRC) we sang carols & were given free hot cross buns

Did this happen anywhere else; either here in the UK or elsewhere?

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

Have a feeling our local church group used to have a hot cross bun morning after the service when I was a kid.

Hot cross buns are also another one of those things that we used to be able to buy only around Good Friday or for the few weeks leading up to it. Now they seem to be on sale all year round.
