Hi, my name is Lise or some variant thereof and i'm kind of thrilled to find a message board that discusses stuff like public information films and white dog poo since I find such topics endlessly fascinating and, well, most of my friends don't. Part of my interest stems from growing up in the 80s, part of it from trying to write fiction set in that era. 1988-era me collected Pannini stickers, watched adverts whenever allowed to do so, sang rude songs and loved to feed ducks. 2008-era me studies politics at university, teaches people who have no personal memories of Mrs Thatcher, likes Big Country and Depeche Mode - and still appreciates a good rude song and often prefers to hang out with ducks rather than people.
