G'Day folks, I'm Andrew, aka Quetelet, from Wales. I found this forum by accident looking for an old 'Big D' bread advert on YouTube, but now I've found you I'll pop in from time to time to reminisce about how we used to manage with three tv channels, could cope with walking with hair as big as our platform shoes and ate foods with more additives than Jordan's baps, I'm referring to the topless bimbo, not the bread btw!

Being a Welsh sophisticate, I'm about to hop into my Morris Oxford and head for home where I'll enjoy adding some water to a Vesta Curry and wash it down with a nice Campari & Lemonade. So see y'all soon,.

Hi Quet - welcome to DYR

your comment about the Belgian statician reminded me of the Monty Python sketch (1971) about derogatory terms for foreigners..

Micks / Frogs/ Krauts/ Wops etc and would you please send your votes for a name for Belgians on a plain postcard

The winner was revealed two week later as 'nothing cos they're too boring' - this was nearly outvoted by 'dirty fat Belgians'
