just wondering how long did it take you writing it mate.

Took me a year to write it (because I was busy with other stuff most of the time) but if I'd just worked at it solid it would have taken about 3 months. I could only write 50,000 words and had to cover the music, movies, TV shows, fashion etc so there's no way I could fit everything in there. I've just picked out the stuff that I remember best and that meant the most to me from my childhood. Hopefully other people will remember most of the same stuff!

My publisher liked it so much that they've asked me to write two more books. I'm starting on the first one now and, whilst I can't tell you too much about it, I will say that it's on the subject of 80s fashion! Should be in shops this time next year.

Yes i had a feeling you would be asked to do more books because its a book that is related to so many peoples childhood.
what a fantastic era the eighties was.
