Ink Bolt character books

Does anyone remember a series of kids books from the early 80's about 'ink bolt' characters? Each character was a different colour, one of which was a ghost If I recall correctly. Been trying to remember the name of them to find some on Ebay. They were small white books similar to the Mr Men series.

Do you mean The Blobs? I think I had one book (possibly 'Fizzy Orange'). The ghost was Ghostly White. Apparently there was a TV series in the 90s with Jane Horrocks.

They certainly look like Mr Men Books
