70s time stopping comic

I remember buying a comic in 1977 at heathrow airport and one of the stories was about a man who got a watch which stopped time i read this over and over again while i was in italy on holiday can anyone remember this comic

Was it an American comic? Like House of Mystery, or Witching Hour etc.?

My advice would be to go to comics.org and search for the word "time" (or anything else you can remember). Sort by year.

I remember the strip, but I'm damned if I can remember the name of it. It was first printed in Hurricane, I believe, or possibly Valiant-one of those 1960's IPC/Fleetway titles, but I can well believe it would have been reprinted in the mid 70's, either in Valiant or elsewhere (IPC recycled strips regularly, sometimes changing the title in the process). I shall have to have a hunt through my files.

No it was a watch it could of been an american comic i cant remember but i read that story over and over again and would love to see it again
