I spotted it in Waterstone's on Saturday, it mentions lots of food me & my girlfriend used to eat when we were young.

Digital Retro by Gordon Laing. A coffee-table book that charts the range of home computers from the late 70s to early 90s including early hobbiest models and also the more popular 8-bit ones like ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64. Beautifully layed out with excellent photos, highly recommended.

                        Any more to add?

There were the prefered school reading books, of the late forties and fifties, the Wide Range Readers.

There were at least six series, and at least one of the series, had 12 books in it.

Almost every book worm in my age group, that I know, read them.

Hi everyone, I got 'TV Cream's Anatomy of Cinema: the Films That Criticism Forgot' by Phil Norman and Chris Diamond. It's great for info on great british film genres such as Carry on films etc. It's well worth a look imo. Its available from Amazon if anyone wants to buy it.
I also got 'Fabulous Fanny Cradock : TV's Outrageous Queen of Cuisine' by Clive Ellis. Its a really interesting and really funny book. Its also got a few of her bizzare receipes. Its a great read and I read it in a day I was so engrosed!

                              Match: The 80's

Picked this up from The Works for £3.99, well worth it for 80's football fans.

Features a review of each season from 1979-80 to 1989-90, original magazine articles and player profiles, all in all a good read.
