lucky for me I escaped the terror of Cheese Cloth!
I, like many others in the 70's ,wore hand -me-downs.
Great,but I only have a sister!
i can recall her horror in 1980, when I borrowed a pair of her size 10 stretch jeans, which she swore I'd never get in..
i wore them for two years!
Yes, I did have to lie on the bed and wriggle into them, but that was the fashion then

No, but I've had to be helped into some choice items of clothing over the years
When i was young, there always seemed to be a willing young lady around to help me..

I have 3 older sisters so hand me downs were rare....but I DID wear 3 different Harrington jackets from each of them. Black with tartan inside...I LOVED them

I've noticed that the Fashion has returned bak to the 70's,not that I'm any fashion Guru.
I've purchased a couple of trucker hats and I've search the net for 70's T.V. show T-Shirts.....

Told you no guru...........But I don't care........

Oh yes!! definately remember laying on the bed with a wire coat hanger trying to do up a pair of jeans, then not being able to move!! I also used to have white perfect creases in my jeans, achieved by runing a small line of soap down the crease!!
