Re: Jumper with 3 stars across the front
How strange i have never noticed this thread totaly properly before!! I recall these Jumpers very well (from the early 1980s) though i thought they had 2 stars on - the reason being that my ld Headmaster at Primary School thought it a good plan to buy said Jumpers for the School as a sort of item of uniform that was'nt (as if they were to be worn like in chairleadng terms) for Football based on America Football (not as they were though)!!
Though it never took off as crazy as he was I am convinced he thought the wole idea with School name was a great "School Team-building Project" (of sorts). Saying all this they where the "Real McCcoy" but they could easly of been bouyght in from a Warehouse I suspect - hence the 2 not 3 stars (but I'm sure the idea/trail of thought) to have a similar or same (but un-beknown0 copied design existed somehow!
