  • Spherical biscuit with a face on

Hi everyone! I registered just a few minutes ago in the hope that one of you will be able to tell me what these biscuits were, as my google skills are failing me.

They were spherical, about the size of Maltesers, maybe a little bigger, and they were quite a pale biscuit, but they had faces on them in a darker brown - the faces weren't etched into the biscuit, I don't think, I seem to remember it actually looked like they were drawn on. I think the faces had different expressions. There was a bit of chocolate filling in the very centre of the biscuit. They came in little bags, but I don't know if the little bags were sold individually as I only remember having them as part of a multipack. They were around in the early to mid 90s, I think. They were pretty distinctive - I don't think I've ever had ball shaped biscuits before, and they were really nice!

    Thanks!

sixtyten - yes, they looked very similar to that and looking at this picture is making me hungry! I've found another post on here about them, apparently the ones I'm thinking of were called Cartoonies. I thought they were a little smaller and rounder, but my mum remembers them being that sort of dome shape.
