Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

lol Yes, I remember doing that at our chippie. I think they would often throw in a bag of bits gratis when you bought, say fish and chips. In the early 80s, when my girlfriend and I were strapped for cash, we'd call at the chippie for a bag of bits, then go to the park and sit on the swings and eat them--the bits, not the swings
A very cheap way to have a date, but we didn't care, it was still fun.
