There are a couple of nice fish and chip places near to where I live and one of them says that they that their fish and chips are the best in the area!

Just a bit of salt and have them wrapped up and that's all there is to it.

We go for a day every July .. kinda tradition .. we throw colourful petals in the harbour where my lovely ol’ mum’s ashes were scattered.

We start off early and sometimes start at Whitby then Scarborough for the afternoon and evening..

Make sure you see all of Scarborough North and South !!

Some friends of ours went years ago after we’d been raving about it and when they came back they said it was ok ...

When we questioned them they’d only seen one end of Scarborough did that was the quieter end but didn’t know about the other end ( the bigger , busier, bustling side ) ..

They’d completely missed the harbour complex , the beach front , all the fantastic shops and the shopping centre snaking up into the town centre!

They do taste fabulous out of paper , especially out of doors ..at the seaside

I just assumed it was because you’re usually starving after searching for the chippy then queuing up ..
