I voted on Facebook Bring Back Banjo chocolate bar page. It would make my day if Mars brought it back. Hope fellow Banjo chocolate fans will help the campaign to bring it back!

Remember the ad but not really the bars, even though i know I ate them! I only vaguely remember the blue one but in my mind the wrapper was a bit like a bounty wrapper. Probably shows how little I remember of them!

I always thought there was only the roasted nut version. I always remember the navy blue coloured wrapper and bright yellow Banjo logo. Hope it makes a comeback (like the Wispa did) but Banjo is nicer! Here is a photo of it (probably an import from Germany?) I could just eat one now (and try the toasted coconut one too!)

Banjo chocolate was made by Mars. I remember it well in the eighties. It was delicious! Recently found out they used to have another flavour in a Maroon wrapper which was toasted coconut (gutted I never tried that one). Wish they would bring this chocolate back. There is a Facebook page called Bring Back Banjo chocolate which needs support in bringing it back.

I remember the advert use to annoy me somewhat,because of the guys overacting when he went to bite the banjo,and the girls face looked so silly with blonde hair and dark red cheeks,as if the make up department had gone doo lally on her face.

I loved banjo bars, they came in a blue wrapper and a red wrapper, cant remember why, maybe plain and milk.

Part of the advert went. Banjos, new Banjos, banjos are brand new, light and crispy wafer , roasted peanuts too.

To the tune of "Oh Susannah" wasn't it?
