Can't quite remember the name of this lolly. Sure it had 'Spy' in the title. You put the blue stick on some paper and wrote out the code that was etched into the stick. Then you turned the stick around and wrote again, and some words 'magically' appeared.

Although I can't remember the name of the lolly, I do remember that you could send off for a 'Secret Spy Pen'.

Damn! The name is going to annoy me now.

I had both of these. Got them when I bought a Star Wars lolly at the Odeon Cinema, Croydon, watching Star Wars for the second time on the big screen.. wish I'd kept them.. surely they won't sell at £400 a piece??

Thank you so much Sixtyten, that is incredibly helpful of you.I do agree that the packaging is not as good,it looks slightly Anime to me.Saying that though,it looks to be made of a better quality material than the old paper packaging it once had. These new packaging seem to have a cushion of air around the lolly, whereas the old paper ones had a habit of sticking to the ice lolly a lot of the time,so we had to peel paper off half the ice lolly. At least that has changed.

Yes, Walls still make a Dracula lolly (the black ice one) in Spain, as I try and have one everytime I'm there. The packaging is rubbish nowadays though

Regarding the ice lolly: Count Dracula's Secret.I have just translated it into Spanish, and google the words: Polo De Hielo De Dracula.I came up with a few sites discussing it with pictures. There seems to be boxes of them for sale.Unfortunately,i cannot speak Spanish in any way whatsoever,so i do not know if they are still for sale or if they are still being made. Here are the links:

The Little Blue Cow - Aquellos maravillosos helados ...

I have used the google translator links for some of the sites,so we can have a fair idea of what they are saying.
I also googled: Frigo Dracula aswell.

Can anybody tell if the Dracula ice lolly is still being made or sold? If so,is there an address where we can contact or buy them?

After you'd eaten the ice cream you just clicked the lid back on and use it for a ball.

If you go back through both the ice lolly and defunct sweet threads most of the goodies you mention on both threads can be found
