The chocolate paper wrapped cigs were great.I got a pack one christmas in my stocking as a kid...and thought I was rather lucky untill I realised they were not the real deal.Still they remained my favourite sweet cigarette for a long time.
Another related product by theme was sweet tobacco which came in a pouch.Stringy coconut covered in brown type fine sugar to look like pipe or rolling tobacco.Used to love this stuff.
I think there was a bit of hype over the removal of the red dot on the end of candy cigarettes at the time.I have memories of this being in the papers and on the news and thinking that the world had suddenly gone mad.

I remember the sweet cigarettes and really liked them but I favoured the chocolate cigarettes in rice paper in the different packets.............my favourite was the the packet with the church on, maybe Chesterfield.

I smoked from the age of 17-38 (real fags I mean)..........pleased I gave it up tbh.
