When you see ads for any cereal nowadays i.e. cornflakes / weetabix etc it shows these smiley kids pouring milk on and tucking in.
Look at ads for the same products from 35 years ago - everyone of them shows sugar being sprinkled over the cereals as well as the milk.
This is down to the 'healthier lifestyle perceptions' of today and, IMO, explains why kids leave their cereal untouched and go to shop on the way to school instead - gotta get the sugar rush somehow - Mars Bars / Boost
