  • Pilsbury Dough

Hey does anyone remember Pilsbury Dough the ad used to be of a pilsbury dough man that had a funny chuckle laugh but the dough used to come in a cylinder that you tapped and twisted to reveal the doughnut shaped pieces of dough inside that you deep fat fried then tossed in sugar. Mmm! they were really yummy but i think they must have been quite expensive as we only had them hi days and holidays as a special treat. I can't remember if they came in any other shape other than doughnuts. I think I saw an ad for Pilsbury a few years ago (but not as good as the original) so there must have been a revival at some point but I certainly haven't seen any about.

Oh so did I. My dad always said I had a Pilsbury dough laugh. I'm pleased someone remembers the little fella. :-)

I think I've seen Pilsbury products at Tescos recently, I think it was Crossants and Chocolate Chip Cookies and I'm almost certain that you can actually get a Pilsbury Boy Doll I'm sure I've seen one on an American Collectors web site.
