I love fish and chips, but I can't help thinking if they were "invented" now we probably woudn't touch them with a bargepole, what with all the grease, fat, salt and vinegar etc. Usually had a big bottle of Dandelion & Burdock (or Bandy Lion & Durdock as we called it) with them when I was a kid, thinking we must be drunk when we got the burps.

Our local fish n chip shop sells Mars bar fritters tho i've never tried them, but they also sell some loverly jam donuts which you MUST eat while they're still warm, once they cool down they're just not the same.
