they where just lovely.
talk about bringing back memories.
they must have got to the point where they where no longer popular angie.
anytime i hear of these i think of rolo.
when did u last see them in a shop?
I loved Golden Cup. I think I remember it in 2 different shaped bars. A chunky one like pictured in Angies post and also a flatter less chunky bar. Loved 'em though. They should be brought back.
There's a chocolate in the Roses selection that is very Golden Cupish. It has a yellow wrapper.
That's true. But too many classic bars have been dropped.I can understand in the case of the Cabana bar due to the expense of 17 processes. However it is still sad to lose a favourite.I used to love Golden Cup.
I remember the less chunky version better, but tell me what is the difference between this and a cadburys caramel? (Yes i do realise that they weren't made by cadburys)
If it was a subtle difference in the taste I went to Ireland last summer and they have cadburys caramels AND caburys caramello which has a different taste to it and in fact were so nice a bought a few bars home with me.
Another interesting fact about them is that the size and shape of the bars reminded me of the old vending machine sized bars (I'm I making that up or did we use to have special vending machine sized bars of chocolate?)
