Re: Supermarkets with seperate departments
Going back as far as the late 70s and through the 80s, the Morrisons Supermarket near where I live had a LifeStyle section. It sold white goods like washing machines and TVs as well as stationary, but also sold toys and had a very good music selection - mainly LP and single records. Then into the 80s, it sold computer games. It was only down the road from where I lived so I would go there after school sometimes. I bough my first LP record there and also bought lots of computer games too.
