  • Cartoon Cabin.

There used to be one of these in my local Co-op Leo's supermarket in the mid to late Eighties. It looked like an instant photo booth but coloured orange. There was just enough room for 2 small kids to sit inside and it showed 5 minute W-B or Disney cartoons for about 50p a go. It also had a poster on the back advertising the film 'Aristocats'. I've never seen one of these machines anywhere else.

I remember there used to be a thing for watching TV at Manchester airport in the early 1980s.

The screen was only a small B&W one, but it was turned on even with no money in, but the sound only came one after you put money in.

I remember going in one with my sister in the late 80s sometime. I think the clip we watched was 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' from 'Mary Poppins'.

Used to have one in the town's main post office, showing Mighty Mouse cartoons in the Mid-80's.
