Who remembers Timothy Whites stores?

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

I remember them very well. They merged with Boots eventually. This old pic from my home town of Blackpool eventually became a Boots and Timothy Whites store.Attached Files -

Nowadays Boots stores are smaller with a building that size more likely to be a Debenhams nowsigpic
