Re: One thing I dont miss
I remember the first 3 well when I used my brother's old computer.
Even in the early 1990s a lot of shops didn't open on a Sunday, & half day closing was still in place some ways.

Hard drives that ran out of space. I can remember when they were only 200MB.
Dial up internet with time metered telephone calls.
Windows 95 and 98. Always crashed.
It's a bit before my time. When shops couldn't sell most things on a Sunday.

One thing I dont miss
One thing I dont miss from 60s & 70s was power cuts, when we had them you could guarantee the eletri would be off for hours,Torches would come out to hunt for the c andles,no tv on the radio to listen to if it was a battery operated one.Tags: None
