    Re: 70's perfume

I use to buy my Mum a bottle of Charlie from Boots every now and then, they went on to do quite a few colours Charlie Red, Charlie Gold and Charlie Silver. I'm almost sure they still sell it and its only around £10 a bottle new

    Charlie Perfume: 1975

    There’s a fragrance that’s here to stay
And they call it … 'Charlie'
    Dum de dum …
It’s kind of fresh, kind of NOW — Charlie!
It’s kind of new, kind of WOW — Charlie!

    Hi everyone ;-)

I was reading some of your coments and I spotted that you are talking about perfumes that I have recently seen on one of the websites. I'm pretty sure that they have Charlie in stock and some Mandate, but maybe there is something else from the 70's that they also have, unforunatelly I'm too young to remember fragrances that you are talking about but maybe it is worthwhile to visit that website and find some other fragrances from the past.

I'm sure it did, but you could get a body wash or something that was in a plastic bottle IIRC

ahhh, you can tell it's really cheap and nasty, when it does not come in a glass bottle

Think the black plastic men's one was Drakkar Noir

Some of the womens stuff was rank..
    Lantheric,Smitty,Charlie,Tweed..ugh!
what was the one with the fancy label? 4711?? or something.
looked like a little bottle of Gin to me

My mum favoured Goya's Aqua Manda range or Coty's Musk
