my picture is of the old pound note from the 70's. I assume from decimalisation onwards.similar design to the old ten shilling note that was phased out in 71 to be replaced with the 50p

Yep, we had it in the lounge, for years, then it went into my sisters room, not seen it since, assume it was smashed.
Have you got a time machine, and gone back to my old house? thats the second old item today that I've had and forgotten!

Think we won that on hoilday camp bingo one year in the 70's. You could save up all your wins and cash them in for the big prizes in the glass cases
