Re: Toothpaste
Gibbs SR and Ultrabrite were the best. Toothpaste just doesn't seem as cool and minty as it used to. Drinking a cold glass of vimto after cleaning your teeth seemed to enhance the coldness. We had sensodyne for a while, that was horrible.

I'd rather drink bleach. Come to think of it, there was this one time...
I'm tying one on - if you like the thought of TCP toothpaste, then you cannot turn your noses up at my hated brainchild.
Brussels sprout flavour crisps.

Re: Toothpaste
My mum used to make me & my brother gargle with TCP every now & again, we had a glass specially for it as it was hard to wash the taste away.
My girlfriend reckons Root Beer tastes like fizzy TCP.

Re: Toothpaste
Punch & Judy - wasn't that stuff a rather pale pink, and tasted like a weak version of that pink slop they used to make you swill with at the dentists? Ick.
Cola toothpaste just sounds like the presentation went completely wrong.
Anyone here use the posh toothpaste - Pearl Drops? Although I have a suspicion that it was merely teeth polish.

Re: Toothpaste
I remember that brand, it was certainly around to the mid 1980s.Originally posted by huggie74 View Post
Late 70's early 80's.
Mentadent P was slightly odd as it was pink, but still had the normal minty flavour, a young Emma Bunton was on one of the ads.
Superdrug used to make some strawberry kids toothpaste in the late 1980s, my younger cousins had it & I tried it once, but it tasted nasty.
