  • Comedians of the 70's 80's/90's

    Who have you seen live and did they live up to expectations? Or who did you really want to see and never got the chance?
    Seen;
    Ben Elton & Rik Mayall (before Ben Elton sold out) - great night.

    Vic and Bob (Big Night Out Tour) - night I realised that Bob was the funny one.

    Mike Harding - don't know how I got dragged to this one.

    Frank Skinner - didn't enjoy this one bit

    Punt and Dennis (Milky Milky Tour) -

    Harry Hill - Not always funny but glad I went

    Wished I'd seen - Newman and Baddiel, Bill Hicks.

        would like to see/or would have liked to see in the past Jasper Carrot and Lee Evans-Hope these could as they have both been around for many years.

          Hubby dragged me to see Ken Dodd a couple of years ago. He was on for hours. I had to get up and leave when he got the Diddy Man ventriliquist doll out 'cos by that time I was suicidal.

                Oh and does anyone remember Graham Fellows who was Jilted John in the 70's? I saw him as John Shuttleworth recently, he was fantastic.

                      saw steve coogan at blackpool opera house 10 years ago.
                      he did his usual characters..alan partrige, paul carth.

                      extremely funny guy.

                      peter kay is the one i want to see, just getting tickets has become a bit of a nightmare these days.

                        Why? Peter Kay only has one routine and he's been doing it for the last 6 years
