Did anyone else see Melaine in Waterloo road last night? Melanie is now playing a Dinner Lady in Waterloo road. I think this her most high profile role (or the most high profile) one I have known her in since she Bread finished 21 years since in 1991, which made Melanie's name for her as Aveline Boswell/Carter Number 2 when she took over the role from the late Gilly Coman.

only other show i saw her in was bread.
other than bread i never reallly seen her in anything else.

I think possibly Melanie has been the most lucky of the later cast of Bread excluding Victor MgGuire. Giles Watling did well as well i think. He had a major role as Becky Radcliffe's Father in Grange Hill in 1999.Originally posted by darren View PostComment

melanie atteded RADA in london winning the van burgh award.
she was alo in the film brassed off in 1996 as sandra.
she was also in juliet bravo wehere she played jean simpson.
