Sad to hear this. Even after all these years I still remember him falling in love with his Maid Marion via cb radio. He was one of my favourite Coronation St characters back then and I always hoped he might come back for a visit some time. Liked him as Twiggy in The Royle Family too. RIP Geoffrey/Eddie.

I think my first exposure to Geoffrey was Keeping Up Appearances. He had great comedy timing in that. His acting capabilities as the rogue fitted in well to the parts he was cast in.

I am very sad to hear about Geoffrey passing away. Geoffrey was a brilliant in Heartbeat as well all the other programmes he was inI think, including Coronation Street, Keeping Up Appearances and The Royal Family which are the main roles I knew of Geoffrey appearing in. A very talented actor indeed.

This passing has made me feel very old indeed, the actor seems to have always been with us. Brilliant as Twiggy, I love it when older actors who we know so well in established roles can come up with something new and hilarious.
