apparently he was brought up in care.

i remember him well growing up.

I have just recently read of the sad news that the broadcaster and newspaper editor Derek Jameson has sadly passed away on Wednesday baged 82 years old. I can recall Derek being on Radio when I was younger very well - in the same way as I recall all the other people who used to be on Radio in the 1980s and 1990s.
