My best memories of Larry Hagman was when he starred on Shooting Stars. I'm at my happiest when I'm watching an old man having the life bewildered out of him.

Rip Larry, the best baddie ever. What a legend and what a screen presence, even in the new series, he stole the show. I loved the evil glint in his eye, his voice and his laugh. Will always be remembered fondly. Sleep well 'ol Jr...xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Very sad news, I was a bit young to remember the better years of Dallas, but JR was one of the most iconic characters of that era.

I also liked him as Major Nelson in I Dream of Jeanie.
