Eccentric weatherman Ian McCaskill died at the weekend, he did the weather forecasts on BBC1 throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s.

I was very shocked indeed to hear of the sad news indeed about Sir Ian McCaskill passing away

Without any doubt Sir Ian McCaskill was a true one-off the field/forte of weather-forecasting I feel/think
